These videos aren't the best, but are funny. Dillon screamed with excitement at EVERY firetruck. Then he did a little "stroller dancing". The final video is the annual golf cart ride, which the kids absolutely LOVE. Soon Darr's cousin is coming to the area with her 2 sons, so Darr's uncle Butch has offered to take all the little boys (and girls if they want) to the firehouse to see the firetrucks!! Dillon will be soooo excited. We really are lucky to have such great family and friends :)

Happy 4th of July.....
Today we are heading to the annual parade here in town. Then after that a fun, family BBQ at Darr's parents' house. The fire department puts on a fireworks show around 9:30 tonight and it just happens to be (basically) in the backyard. So, it's the perfect spot....BBQ, kids play, then fireworks without even leaving! I plan on getting a picture of the kids before the parade like last year. I'll try to post pictures tomorrow.

Happy Birthday Dillon....
Today is Dillon's 3rd birthday even though he thinks he's 8. He opened presents this morning, but is having his party on Saturday.
Today Chloe was given an award for achievement in English Language Arts. We are so proud of her! Tomorrow (Thursday) is the last day of school.

Big Boy Bed.....
I gave Dillon's bedroom a make over last week. I painted it, moved furniture around and brought down his big boy bed. He got a new bedspread and sheets as well. So far no problems sleeping. He's soooo proud :)
Also this week we HAD to get a new computer. So I'm still working on getting my photo software installed. These pictures were done on what came with the computer. I'm still not happy with the camera!

Our newest, newest family members....
The rest of our guinea hens arrived today. We got a call from a Post Office (not ours) saying that they had our guinea's and we could come get them now or wait until they made it to our Post Office tomorrow. Of course Darr and Hannah went and got them! I can't believe how small, well actually how big our older hens have gotten! They all seem to be getting along okay. They are about 1 week apart in age.
Dillon's too busy usually for the guinea hens.
In case you can't tell, the older hens are gray.
